Top Bridge Park

Top Bridge Park is a favourite local swimming hole to spend a sunny afternoon
cooling off in the waters of the Englishman River. The park is also an opportunity to connect with nature.

One of Top Bridge's best kept secrets is the petroglyphs. According to a local historian, three separate and distinct First Nations carvings, discovered by a local fisherman in 1940, can be found on the rocks near the river.

The Top Bridge trail is a lively junction of parks and nature conservation areas where visitors often stop to enjoy the view of Englishman River from the suspended bridge. There is a walking trail about 5 kilometres long and the pedestrian only bridge spans the river linking the walking trail with the Regional District of Nanaimo trail system
on the other side of the Englishman River. Those in search of a bit more "extreme" recreation will also find a specialized trail system exclusively for mountain biking located at Top Bridge Park.

Please note, Top Bridge Park is a natural park. There are no plumbed washroom facilities, change rooms, concessions, or other amenities are available.
