Lions Ventureland Playground

The playground and splash park are landmarks in the Parksville Community Park used by residents and tourists. The playground is well-loved by many generations. The Parksville Lions Club involvement with the playground began in 1985 and since this time, many new features have been added such as the outdoor gym and splash park as well as ongoing playground upgrades. We are grateful for the Parksville Lions Club members who donate more than 2,000 volunteer hours annually to the playground.

Children love exploring the profusion of brightly coloured slides, swings and jungle gyms. The playground is regularly maintained and updated with new equipment and surfacing to meet accessibility standards appropriate for children with mobility challenges.
